Sorry about not updating the site more often. To be honest I have forgotten my password and lost my editing privilleges for using the site more often.I thought I would let you know a few things though. January 2008 - What's NEW Pastor Karalee is having a baby. Her and her husband will welcome the new Choi in the beginning of May 2008. As of January 8, 2008 preteen will be starting up again. Please note that grade 7's are now required to got o youth and grade 4's are officially welcomed into ROOTS! The ages for ROOTS are 10 - 12 as of DEC 2008. The last Tuesday in January will be our special event. We are meeting at Walnut Grove Community Centre at 6:30pm and will be going swimming until 8:30pm. Please pick up your child at 8:30pm. Cost is $2.10 to swim for kids 9 - 12 years old. The centre is located at: 8889 Walnut Grove Drive WestWinds Youth will also be swimming that night so there will be lots of familiar faces. Parents/ Guardians feel free to join the swim or stay and chat with other parents. I also wanted to let you know that we will be starting a sports club for grades 1 - 6 on Tuesday afternoons in February from 3:30 - 4:30pm. Each month we will focus on a different sport. In February we will focusing on soccer. Register and take advantage of this chance to learn the game and or improve your skills. There will be a low monthly fee for participants. For more info, to sign up/register talk to Pastor Karalee or Kirsten. Also coming in February we will be offering dance classes. Classes will be held on Wednesdays.
