History Maker Preteen a.k.a SPARK is going to take place on April 20th and 21st this year. It is going to be AWESOME!!!!

If you have gone in the past you already know it is a great weekend to meet other preteens, get to know God better and have loads of fun! If you haven't gone to SPARK yet here's a quick list of the cool stuff we get to do there - go rock climbing, meet other preteens, jump around in a bouncy castle, listen to cool speakers, rock out in worship, try out wacky hair designs, skateboard, dance, try out cheerleading, make our own scrapbook page, play flag football, shoot hoops 3 on 3, play video games, win prizes... I could go on and on and on. Oh, I almost forgot - we get to eat pizza and spend the night there too! In two words...IT ROCKS!




If you are interested talk to one of our preteen leaders most of us have been at least once. Last year Jared was floored by how great SPARK was! - But don't take my word for it...




SPARK UPDATE ....
Well SPARK has come and gone and it was awesome!
I think everyone who went had a totally good time and saw God working in some pretty cool ways!

The power went out just before the first session started. I figured it was a power surge from all our preteens that blew the transformer. It came back on pretty quickly and the leaders kept us entertained in the meantime.

Over the course of the weekend there was tons of cool stuff to do like... the skate boarding hub, rock climbing, hip hop dance, missions hub, worship hub, beading, scrapbooking hub, bouncy castle and supersized video games in the fun room. Marcel Morneau was a fantastic speaker and as he delivered God's message he challenge everyone there.

In the last session preteens were sent home with a blue ribbon to remind them to stay true to God and the plans He has for them. We can all be challenged to do the same. One of our preteens even got up in front of her whole class and shared what the blue ribbon meant to her.

Another preteen told his mom that God had done miracles in his life over the weekend.

But the most exciting thing to happen all weekend was that one of our preteen girls decided to turn her life over to God. YAY!

God is AMAZING! And if you don't know Him yet He's just a prayer away!
